Inter-bout interval for rumination

Definition:

The period of time between rumination bouts. The exact period of time that must elapse after swallowing of the last bolus for it to be deemed that the bout has ended, has not been defined, but must be longer than 4-8 seconds (Rutter, 2000; Nørgaard, 2003).
